The Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) is a longwool breed of sheep which evolved in Dishley, Leicestershire in the eighteenth century. BFL sheep have curly, fine, rather lustrous wool which is one of the softest of the UK clip. Bluefaced Leicesters are recognizable through their Roman noses, which have a dark blue skin which can be seen through the white hair, hence the name.

Excellent Customer Service

My delivery was destroyed by high winds so strong they blew over the grill and the smoker. Deb resolved the situation without hesitation, despite not being at fault in any way. I am grateful!

2 pound grab bag

I'm new to spinning and fiber but had fun spilling the bag open to see the reveal. I honestly don't know which fiber is which but none the less it will become yarn.

Fun with fiber

Great way to experiment with a variety of fibers and color! Anxious to try my hand at blending fibers
