Finnsheep are known in their native country of Finland as Finnish Landrace. Finnish (or Finn) wool is very similar to Bluefaced Leicester wool in appearance. The breed is considered to be several hundred years old, descending from the Mouflon that live in the wild on Sardinia and Corsica. With a soft hand and medium length, it is highly praised by hand spinners as it also blends easily with other fibers. Many hand spinners call it heavenly. 28-30 Micron and an average length of 80mm.
