This soft Bluefaced Leicester top is a blend of dyed black BFL and Natural White BFL.
Bluefaced Leicester wool, affectionately known as BFL, is fine at 26 Microns and an average length of 80-90mm. It is dense with a good luster and is well suited to combing. It is a specialty rare British breed.

The Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) is a longwool breed of sheep which evolved in Dishley, Leicestershire in the eighteenth century. BFL sheep have curly, fine, rather lustrous wool which is one of the softest of the UK clip. Bluefaced Leicesters are recognizable through their Roman noses, which have a dark blue skin which can be seen through the white hair, hence the name.
This is lovely fiber, so far no VM. I would reccommend it to anyone.
