Norwegian Sheep vary in several different color shades. This Nordic blend of several different Norwegian breeds has been said to be a cross between the Norwegian crossbreeds with a British background (dalasau, rygjasau, sheviot and steigar, to name a few). It’s a multipurpose breed with a medium wool and has been described as similar to Corriedale with a higher micron count. The wool is long, which makes it suitable for combing, felting, hand knitting yarns and woven garments, where good resilience is required.
