 This Norwegian Wool Top is hand dyed and is ready for your next project!  This is a multipurpose breed with a medium textured wool and has been described as similar to Corriedale with a higher micron count. This batch from the mill is at approx. 33 Microns and 80-120mm long, which makes it suitable for combing, felting, hand knitting yarns and woven garments, where good resilience is required. The Norwegian White Sheep (NWS) is a composite breed that accounts for the largest majority of the total Norwegian sheep population. This is a good fiber for new spinners with a long enough staple length for learning how to draft properly and is a more "forgiving" fiber with substance to the texture that will hold up to sturdier, bulkier spun yarns.
