Voilà! This French Breed is very similar to merino and is sometimes known as French Merino. A very old breed, originating in the village of Rambouillet, France in 1786. The Rambouillet sheep produce a fleece with a good length around 100mm. The wool averages 20-23 Microns, with a good crimp.
