This is a nice fiber to learn to spin on! Very forgiving and fun to spin.
The Shropshire breed is classified as a fine breed. The breed traces back to the early 19th Century with records showing the breed originating from the West Midlands, UK. This hardy looking breed creates a brilliantly white wool and is famed for use in cloth and knitwear throughout Europe.
